Windows 8

At first it looks new and nice. I love new and nice so much that most of the time it is enough for me… for 5 minutes.

They said it will ruin windows for me until the end of time.

Well, no. Not really. However it is a strangely unusable new operating system that is not much different from the previous version. Except perhaps that they fired the guy (Steven Sinofsky) right after it hit the stores.

What could the secrect of this new Windows be? Is it the new “start menu”? Is it DirectX 12 or something? Is it the lack of customizability?

Well I don’t know. Also I don’t care. Why? Simply because of the fact that Windows XP is still a good operating system, weighs less than any other (new windows) and I didn’t even want to update it to Windows 7 when it finally came out and everybody said it was decent.

I’m a geek. I should be excited about new stuff but I am undecided with this one. I feel I want to like it but I don’t like the direction Microsoft is going. I hate all Apple products (personally). I think they are overpriced and lack customizability (what? it’s a good word…).

Is that what Windows will be in the future: a slightly less expensive Mac OS?

For now I shall stick with Windows XP and (for my new laptop and work computer) Windows 7.

Uff, I have spoken. My word is the law. I am god. … Oh, who am I kidding? Use Windows 8 because it’s shiny and new. 😀
