Panasonic and Windows 7

Windows 7 isn’t compatible with older Panasonic videocameras.

I undserstand that western consumers change their equipment faster than their wives… wait, what? Nevermind.

So I haven’t got the money or the will to throw out my beloved cameras just because they got lazy with the new Windows.

This is the reason why people still stick with XP.

Imagine that you buy the brand new OS just to find out that now you have to buy new equipment as well. Damn those Microsoft people.

Luckily I haven’t thrown out my old Pentium IV computer that runs some XP.

So this way I have a computer just to record DV footage which is awesome. My problem is not with this.

I hate it when they make me do things like this. An operating system SHOULD be compatible backwards. I do not wish to change it unless it’s worth it.

In this case (even with my new possibilities) I think it’s not worth it. However it is done. It cannot be undone. Now I have 2 PCs with Windows 7 on them.
